A pending email message will appear when editing a user if the user has an ACGME Cloud account and their email address has been updated. The user must approve or reject this change upon their next login.
For example, this may occur during one of the following scenarios:
- A resident or fellow has been added to a new program
- A program director has been added to a new program
- Or other examples of when a person's role within GME has changed
The email address will be pending until the user has logged into ACGME Cloud and accepted the change.
