If you see a message that your email address has been updated and the change is pending, your role changed within GME or you were recently added to a Sponsoring Institution or program with an email address that differs from your current ACGME Cloud account.
You must approve or reject this email change
If approved, this email address will become your new email to access ACGME Cloud. If rejected, you will still be added to the role where this change was made but you will retain access with your current email address. In order to access ACGME Cloud, you must be able to receive messages at the email address on file.
Some examples that may cause this message to appear include:
- A resident/fellow changing programs
- A program director or faculty being added to a new program
- Or any other role where a previous resident/fellow has assumed a new role within GME (DIO, PD, faculty member, etc.)
