In support of the ACGME’s continued transition to modern analytics capabilities in ACGME Cloud, updates to how historical reports are retained and accessed are being implemented.
Beginning October 31, 2026, reports in the Accreditation Data System (ADS) that are older than five years will be archived as part of an organization-wide data retention and archival initiative. This includes:
- Resident/Fellow Survey Reports
- Faculty Survey Reports
- Milestone Reports
All Milestone data for current residents, including residents in programs longer than five years, will continue to be transitioned to and available within ACGME Cloud | Analytics.
To retain these reports locally, download and save them prior to October 31, 2026.
Export functionality for these dashboards is planned for early 2027 to continue to provide the necessary data for Sponsoring Institutions and programs.
Expanded Dashboards and Reporting Capabilities
ACGME Cloud | Analytics continues to expand with interactive dashboards that provide increased flexibility, deeper insights, and enhanced reporting capabilities for ACGME-accredited Sponsoring Institutions and programs.
By providing more dynamic and actionable insights, ACGME Cloud | Analytics helps streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and support data-informed decision making. Through ACGME Cloud | Analytics, users now have access to:
- Interactive dashboards and visualizations
- Advanced filtering and drill-through capabilities
- Trend analysis and historical insights
- Specialty and national benchmarking where applicable
- More flexible exploration of program and institutional data
- Future export capabilities planned for early 2027
Next Steps
Again, any institution or program that would like to maintain access to reports older than five years is encouraged to download and save copies of those reports before October 31, 2026.
Following that date, reporting will be available through ACGME Cloud | Analytics.
