The Designated Institutional Official (DIO), Institutional Coordinator (IC), Program Director (PD), or Program Coordinator (PC) can update a resident or fellow’s status from the program’s roster. Status updates can be made at any point during the academic year, and should be made as close to real time as possible in order to ensure accurate scheduling for Milestones and Surveys.
To update a Resident/Fellow status in ADS:
- Log into your ADS account with a DIO, IC, PD, or PC login.
- As the DIO or IC, from the left-hand navigation menu, click Sponsored Programs and select the program that requires the change. Then from the program's profile for all users, click the left-hand navigation menu and under Resident/Fellows, click View Roster.
- Locate and hover over the person’s name, and click Edit.
- Select the most appropriate status from the drop-down menu in Section 2, fill out any prompted fields that appear, and click 'Save Resident/Fellow to capture the change.
