Percent compliance
Percent compliance (at the program, specialty, and national levels) is the number of respondents endorsing specific response options divided by the total number of respondents. The specific response options classified as compliant vary from question to question and were determined through a deliberative process (described here ).
Percent non-compliance
The Review Committees considers all data available for programs and not only results from the survey. One respondent answering a question in a "non-compliant" manner would not be perceived as a substantial non-compliance. What constitutes a compliance concern is ultimately a determination made by the Review Committee.
