Advance Search Feature

Advanced search features allow users to view basic information about all ACGME accredited programs and sponsoring institutions. Advanced search features are available for programs, sponsoring institutions, and participating sites in their respective dashboards.

New Institutional and Program Finder Navigation Button

  1. On the ACGME Cloud home page, click on Analytics, then to Explore Public Data

  2. From here you can navigate to either the new "Institution and Program Finder" button and it will take you to the Advanced Search landing page.

  3. The second way to navigate to search are by the drop-down menu under Explore Programs, Explore Sponsoring Institutions, or Explore Participating Sites and select the specific search from the option.  

  4. Lastly, if you have the Program, Sponsoring Institution, or the Participating Sites dashboard open, you can also navigate to the search dashboard from there by clicking on the search button on the dashboard.

 

Program Search

  1. Navigate to the Program Search dashboard page.
    • Signing in is not required, since this is publicly accessible data.

    • Alternatively, navigate to the ACGME Cloud website, follow these step-by-step instructions to access the Explore Public Data area, and then select "Program Search" from the Explore Programs grouping.

       

  2. Explore the advanced search feature.
    • Look on the left-hand side, and you will see the advanced search feature. 

    • Search for a program by using those filters to slice the data.  By entering specific program information, you will see the list of programs in the table be reduced to show only those programs that match the criteria entered.

       

  3. View detailed information

    • Click on the program that you are interested in within the table.  This action will activate two buttons at the bottom of the table that offer detailed information on that program.

       

    • Click on the button "Accreditation History Report" to see a list of the historical accreditation statuses for the program.  Click the back button to return to the Program Search page.

       

    • Click on the button "Program Report" to see detailed information about the program.  Click the back button to return to the Program Search page.

 

Sponsor Search

  1. Navigate to the Sponsor Search dashboard page.
    • Signing in is not required, since this is publicly accessible data.

    • Alternatively, navigate to the ACGME Cloud website, follow these step-by-step instructions to access the Explore Public Data area, and then select "Sponsor Search" from the Explore Sponsoring Institutions grouping.

       

  2. Explore the advanced search feature.
    • Look on the left-hand side, and you will see the advanced search feature. 

    • Search for a sponsoring institution by using those filters to slice the data.  By entering specific sponsor information, you will see the list of sponsors in the table be reduced to show only those sponsors that match the criteria entered.

       

  3. View detailed information
    • Click on the sponsor that you are interested in within the table.  This action will activate two buttons at the bottom of the table that offer detailed information on that sponsoring institution.

       
    • Click on the button "View Sponsor Report" to see details of the sponsoring institution.  Click the back button to return to the Sponsor Search page.

       
    • Click on the button "View Sponsor Programs" to see a list of programs and the details of all the programs related to that sponsoring institution.  Click the back button to return to the Sponsor Search page.

 

Participating Sites Search

  1. Navigate to the Participating Sites Search dashboard page.
    • Signing in is not required, since this is publicly accessible data.

    • Alternatively, navigate to the ACGME Cloud website, follow these step-by-step instructions to access the Explore Public Data area, and then select "Participating Sites Search" from the Explore Participating Sites grouping.

       

  2. Explore the advanced search feature.
    • Look on the left-hand side, and you will see the advanced search feature. 
    • Search for a participating site by using those filters to slice the data.  By entering specific participating site information, you will see the list of participating sites in the table be reduced to show only those sites that match the criteria entered.

       
  3. View detailed information
    • Click on the participating site that you are interested in within the table.  This action will activate two buttons at the bottom of the table that offer detailed information on that site.

       
    • Click on the button "Participating Site Report" to see details of the participating site.  Click the back button to return to the Participating Sites Search page.

       
    • Click on the button "See Details" to see a list of programs rotating through that participating site.  Click the back button to return to the Participating Sites page.
