E.8 Number of Sponsoring Institutions by Institution Type

How to Find this Data in ACGME Cloud | Analytics

 

  1. Navigate to the Sponsoring Institutions Data dashboard page.
    • Signing in is not required, since this is publicly accessible data.

    • Alternatively, navigate to the ACGME Cloud website, follow these step-by-step instructions to access the Public Data Dashboards area, and then select "Sponsoring Institutions Data."

       

  2. Navigate to the Sponsoring Institutions Characteristics tab.
    • On the "Institutions Type" sub-page, view the data by the number of Sponsoring Institutions and by the number of programs.

    • Note that the number of residents/fellows by institution type is not available on the dashboard at this time.

       

  3. Additional functionality

    • Click on a bar on either chart to select it, and then you will see a “See Details” button become enabled. Click that button to view details of each Sponsoring Institution from that grouping.

       

  4. Alternate Method using the Explore Data page
    • From the "Sponsoring Institutions Characteristics" tab, click on the “Explore Data” button, and enter the following information into the slicers:
      Choose the Rows = Institution Type
      Choose the Columns = Academic Year
      Choose the Measures = Count of Sponsor
