A.6 Number of Newly Accredited Programs by Academic Year

How to Find this Data in ACGME Cloud | Analytics

  1. Navigate to the Program Data dashboard page.
    • Signing in is not required, since this is publicly accessible data.

    • Alternatively, navigate to the ACGME Cloud website, follow these step-by-step instructions to access the Public Data Dashboards area, and then select Public Data.

       

  2. Navigate to the Newly Accredited Programs tab.
    • View the line chart without any slicers to see the total number of programs by academic year.

    • Use the “Filter Specialty or Subspecialty” slicer to toggle between options to view the program count by specialty or subspecialty.

       

  3. Additional functionality

    • Hover over a data point in the line chart to view the breakdown of the number of accredited programs by status.

       

  4. Alternate method using the Explore Data page
    • From the "Newly Accredited Programs" tab, click the “Explore Data” button, enter the following information into the slicers, then view the totals in a table:
      Choose the Rows = Specialty or Subspecialty
      Choose the Columns = Academic Year
      Choose the Measurements = 02 Number of Newly Accredited Programs
